Born out of this philosophy, four organizations are helping women restart their careers, making opportunities come knocking a second time around too!
Essentially a connecting portal, Jobsforher envisions reversing the female brain drain from the Indian workforce. Neha Bagaria, a Wharton grad and an entrepreneur, went through a break in her own career when she had children. Soon after, she bounced back with Jobsforher,created with insights on the difficulties women face while looking to restart their careers.
Founded by Dr. Saundarya Rajesh, AVTAR Indian Women professionals Interface Network enables building employability, sustainable working, behavioral resilience, and more among women looking to re-enter the career space. Through initiatives like Winskills and Winsight, they also provide skill development and career counseling.
This community connects women to women-friendly employers, flex-friendly formats, mom-preneur programs, partnership programs, and more. They also have mentors to actively engage with the women and encourage them to achieve their goals.
A platform that aims to make women financially independent and socially empowered, HerSecondInnings was founded by Manjula Dharmalingam and Madhuri Kale. Apart from job listings,this organization also provides e-coaching programs for women and diversity and inclusion programs for corporates.
