The feeling is new & has not yet sunk in- of being a bestselling author of a Management Book. The first two prints of the English Book have been sold out in a year & now the 3rd print is out in the market J.
Mid 2016 saw the fruition of sweat, hard work & burning the midnight oil for the mission to get my book translated in Hindi at the behest of students and academicians in key Hindi speaking States. It is probably one of few books in HR written by an Indian Author which has been translated in Hindi, especially with the focus on usage of Hindi language growing in our country.
The Book is titled “रियालटी बाइट्स – वर्तमान समय में मानव संसाधन की भूमिका”. My affinity to Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan prompted the initial launches in Bhopal, Ujjain, Agra-Mathura, Kota & very recently in “Aamchi Mumbai” too. It was launched in my school, St. Mary’s Convent in Ujjain by the Vice Chancellor of Vikram University. In Mumbai, it was launched by NHRD Mumbai Chapter @WE School on October 7, 2016. Quite a few other launches are lined up!
The project of translation was indeed a tough one, since it did not only need Hindi Language skills, but also understanding of Management to ensure that the concepts remained intact. The USP of the Hindi version is that it is not a literal translation of the English Book, however done in a manner which is easily understandable in terms of the concept & application. What makes its special is that it has been edited 8 times by professionals including my school Hindi guru, Shri Pheru Singh Ruhela & my loving father, Shri N.M.Sharma.
The cover page of the book also has been designed very uniquely to give it a distinct identity from the English one. All in all, the book is an offering to students, academicians, professionals & all those seeking to learn the art & science of Human Resources in a very simple and insightful manner.
